Del Dog Training – Delaware Dog Training Programs

Del Dog Training offers three in-home training programs to our clients: in-home training, aggressive dog training, and puppy training. All programs take place within the home and can be customized to fit your lifestyle and your dog’s specific needs.

What Do We Offer?

Our in-home training program is effective in solving several common behavior problems, such as housebreaking, leash pulling, destroying furniture, barking at other dogs/people, jumping, and basic obedience. A trainer will speak with you over the phone to get an idea of the issue and some general information, and then they’ll set up an in-home consultation to meet you and your pet in person. From there, they’ll design a training program to fit you and your pet perfectly, and if you like what you see and hear, they’ll begin the training process.

The process for aggressive dog training is very similar. We’ll meet the dog but perhaps take extra precautions and work to determine the trigger of the behavior in order to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Our aggressive dog training is effective if your dog is growling, snarling, biting, etc. The earlier we start working on aggressive behavior, the better. And don’t worry—we see aggression as a behavior problem rather than as a temperament, and behavior can be modified. We’ll never suggest surrendering or euthanizing your dog.

Our puppy training program will also take place in your home, and we will also customize this program to fit your needs. The program is designed to handle a few common puppy problems like housebreaking, mouthing, chewing, whining, crate training, walking on a leash, proper bonding, separation anxiety, basic obedience, etc. The idea of this program is to create a strong foundation for your puppy’s success and his relationship with your family. We will cover all of these behavior issues, as well as any unique problems you’ve encountered thus far.
